Hi Niki, I just came to your website. It's wonderful! Maybe you can add photos of Cap and Spotty sometime. I'm so grateful to you for taking them. I am happy because I know they are getting lots of love and TLC from you and Dave. I'm happy for all the other kitties in your care as well. I wish there were more homes like yours for these guys! Thanks a million!!!

I am glad to see your program dedicated to the care of FELV+ cats. I had one positive cat already and last year another cat came to my back door who tested positive as well. It was as if my first cat, Pepper, found a long lost buddy. Amazingly, they got along together right from the very start. Unfortunately, Timmy, the newcomer, had to go to 'kittie heaven' a year later on June 19, 2004 because he became terribly ill with complications related to FELV, lymphoma and HCM. Pepper missed him terribly and looked all over for him, but finally realized he wasn't coming home. Timmy, who was a stray begging for food when he found me, lived the last year of his life in the lap of luxury. He is now somewhere chasing squirrels, free from disease, and eating up all the cat treats in Heaven. Please keep up the good work no matter how frustrating it can get. Places for FELV+ cats are desperately needed.

I have also developed a love for feline leukemia positive cats. I have 2 boys, 'Jaffa' and 'Ditka'. We recently lost Ditka's brother 'Simon'. It is so good to hear that there are other people like myself who believe in saving these kitties! Let me know if you come across a small (tolerant) female and maybe I will talk my fiance into another.:) Thanks for having such a big heart!

Niki, I was reading through your rainbow bridge entries. You are a wonderful person to have opened up your heart and home to these kitties. It must be so hard and you are so brave to have so many lovebugs die at such a young age! You are a saint and an inspiration. I wish there were more of you.
