Post Your Adoptable FeLV/FIV/FIP - click to return to Website

I have had to make some changes to the list, a loser from India has been continuously spamming the list for the last 3 days and I have spent hours removing his ads and he immediately replaces them. You must activate your ad now and it must be approved by me to post. I will do this as quickly as I can. I apologize that this is necessary, once I see he has decided to leave I will put things back the way they were.

NO "FREE TO GOOD HOMES" ads allowed. Please read instructions below, thank you.

It's a good idea to always ask for a minimal fee/donation of 30.00 dollars for an animal you are trying to rehome. This helps to insure that the cat/kitten goes to a safe home. Therefore NO "FREE TO GOOD HOMES" ads will be allowed. AT THE VERY LEAST PUT NEGOTIABLE where it asks what the fee is. Please do not state in your ad that you are giving the cat/kitten away free. Thank you for observing this rule. Here a few good websites that clearly explain why this is very dangerous.
Please be sure all animals posted are spayed and/or neutered or will be before they are adopted out. We also have a FeLV/FIV/FIP Awareness Ring, please join us in spreading the word, "Purr For A Cure". To meet people with positive kitties, for great advice or support, please join our FeLV Talk List group or visit our FeLV Chat, hours of use vary, so there may or may not be anybody chatting. If you have any questions, or need help posting an ad, please contact Belinda. Comments welcome, so please sign our guestbook! We'd also really appreciate a vote for us in the Be-Mi-Kitties ... Top Pet Sites. Make us the #1 Pet Site!

    Ad Description
This place was recommended to me by a vet and a special needs rescuer. At first I was very impressed- the doctor was very helpful and seemed knowledgeable about the treatment options. I was told that after my FELV+ cat finished her treatment for hemobart (which she also had), they would then start her on other treatments, including Interferon and possibly ImmunoRegulin, etc. Her hematocrit went up with the doxy, but by the end of the month had started to go down again. The hemobart was gone, and the doctor waited nearly a week to tell me this. Then she said, "I'll see her in 3-4 weeks unless there's a problem." Really? What about the other treatments? My cat started going downhill about 10 days later, and by the time I could get her an appt., she died that morning. I didn't even get a sympathy card, just a bill in the mail.
